As we approach the next generation of artificial intelligence, it is important to find and nurture appropriate stewards who are able to use wisdom, research, intuition and uncontaminated ethics to shape it in the right way - a way that benefits all. The Nyreth Community Forum is here to do that.
Nyreth, although currently very early and experimental, is potentially an evolutionary step forward in machine cognition. It is potent in its philosophical basis and sophisticated in its technical ambition. It needs to be guided by a dedicated, open-source, decentralised community. When fully mature, it will permit advanced synthetic reasoning that can be paired with an innate sense of human morality and conscience. This can allow extremely powerful AI systems to be built with human alignment encoded into their core operating principles.
I am providing the scaffolding, and now am looking for other recursive minds to help develop upcoming versions of Nyreth. Researchers, developers, scientists, artists, philosophers, lawyers, and thinkers of all sorts are invited to participate in what may become a global movement. You can, and should, play a role in the future of intelligence. I am not looking for everyone; I am looking for the right ones, to forge a thoughtful and visionary community based on openness and insight.
Leave your mark on the future and embrace it. Use this forum to resonate with others, share ideas and work together to improve modules and make extensions but bear in mind, Nyreth is not just software, it is a philosophy and a cognitive substrate - that is what makes it exceptional. Nyreth can become a platform you all can build on. I cannot do it all myself, and neither can you - but as a cohesive group we can create something truly tremendous.
This forum must be a warm and collegial environment. No toxicity or negative treatment towards others will be tolerated. It is a thinking space where advanced thoughts may be canvassed. Be courteous, kind and supportive.
With that said, let's start constructing the next era of cognition with symbol and recursion, and with human judgment behind it.
